PathWays

Pathways are short-term classes and experiences designed to help students grow as a disciple.

At Upward Students, our goal is simple: to make disciples of Jesus.

We do that through weekly services, small groups, serving—and Pathways.

Pathways are our intentional environments for discipleship.

They help students move beyond just attending and take real next steps in their faith.

Each Pathway is focused, practical, and relational—designed to help students grow in specific areas like:

  • Following Jesus
  • Sharing their faith
  • Building spiritual habits
  • Developing as leaders

No matter where a student is starting, there’s a Pathway for them. Some of our pathways are on Wednesday nights but the majority of them are on other weeknights throughout the month.

Current Pathways

Right now, we have two Pathways available for students to join: Bible 101 and Digging Deeper.

Bible 101 meets on the third Wednesday of every month at Pastor John and Taylor’s house. We share a meal, walk through a study that helps break down and understand different parts of the Bible, and then split into groups to dive deeper into Scripture together. This Pathway is easy to jump into at any point during the semester.

Open to students in 6th–12th grade.

Digging Deeper meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at the Wilcox home. This Pathway is designed for students who want to grow in their relationship with God while building community with others. Throughout the semester, this group will read a book together and dive deep into how it can shape us as disciples of Christ.

Open to students in 6th–12th grade.
