Here's the deal, Upward Christian Fellowship cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Upward is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom. We as a church have 5 values that we hold the most dear. We hope that you will read about each one below.

We are a church that is “real.” We speak truth in love according to the Scriptures. We are honest about our struggles, our failures, and our victories. We believe that authentic relationships in our church family will create a culture in which people can grow to be more like Christ.

We are radical in the amounts we give away as individuals and as a church. We are radical in the scope of our giving. We give in places and ways that are unexpected and surprising. We refuse to say, “God bless you” without tangibly and practically blessing someone.

We serve our community and our world through by sending volunteers and finances. We serve others with no expectation of return.

We intentionally develop leaders so that they can go out into the community and serve Christ with excellence in their God given vocations. We intentionally develop disciples continually growing in their faith. We train the next generation of community leaders to serve Christ and lead with His heart.

We passionately share our unique faith stories. We consistently invite others to join us in a faith journey as part of the Upward family.

Upward Christian Fellowship was founded in 1923. Since that time, God has moved in many powerful ways, bringing the church to growth and greater impact. It our goal to be a place where people gather, and more importantly, are sent out to reach our community for Christ.

Overall, we are believing God to do some incredible things through our church, not because we are filled with perfect people (Spoiler Alert: we're not), but because we are striving to be filled with JESUS. We believe that our vision statement was given to us by the Lord:
